We are in need of summer & fall season field trips and leaders (good birding
does not end in the spring).

Tomorrow's Aitkin County trip is the last currently scheduled until October.
Yet shorebirds migrate in July, passerines in August, hawks in September; there
are many opportunities for us to get out in the field together!

Let me know if you're interested and we'll plan a trip accordingly.

(Know that I would love to go on a June or July Saturday Twin Cities & south
trip to pick up Prothonotary & Hooded Warblers, Louisiana Waterthrush,
Henslow's Sparrow, Dickcissel, Loggerhead Shrike, Acadian Flycatcher, Bell's
Vireo, Tufted Titmouse and other goodies - had a wedding on June 12th that
prevented me from attending Matt Dufort's.)

My thanks to Bob Williams, Fred Lesher, Chad Heins, Brian Smith, Bob Dunlap,
Bob Holtz, Matt Dufort, Ken Larson, Milton Blomberg, Bob Russell, Nate
Schirmacher and others who have been involved in field trips this spring!

My thanks and admiration as well to Kim Eckert, Craig Mandel, Steve Weston and
others who lead field trips in collaboration with the MOU and MRVAC. Please
check www.moumn.org/mbw.pdf and http://mrvac.org/events/ for further
information on these trips.

Also note the Shorebird and Sparrow Workships put on by Bob Janssen and Doug
Buri, www.itctel.com/buri/SHOREBIRD or www.itctel.com/buri/SPARROW.

Good birding to all!
