There is an active Red Tailed Hawk nest in South Mpls at 3716 36th Ave
S. It is in the top of a mature White Pine. I've seen adult coming and
going. Today I heard what sounded like the chicks squealing from the
nest area. The nest is on private property but best seen from the
alley. Be sure to stop at Fireroast Mountain coffee shop around the
corner for tamales and coffee if you go visit the nest site. I'm not
affiliated in any way just a supporter of local businesses.
