Perhaps of interest, two pair of Western Kingbirds were sighted this morning in far NW Benton County. If you are traveling Hw10, a nest at the electric substation between Rice and Royalton at Halfway Crossing (CR40), and a second pair w/ nest on a metal powerline corner-pole at the T-intersection of 75thAvNW & AcornRd (1/2 mi south of the Morrison County line--go west on CR26 out of Royalton to 75th, then south). mjb
