Biked to Jirik Sod Farms this morning only to have fog move in as I approached the farm ~ though not able to see clearly, there is still good habitat there and worth checking more thoroughly with scopes. Dickcissels: I often see/hear them in several spots as I bike Lakeville/Farmington area, though many of the areas get mowed. This morning there were several calling in Farmington on 195th St W between Highway 3 and west to Embers Ave. The road has large shoulders and there are walking/bike paths closer to the residential area. (Google maps has the road labelled 190th St W as well as 195th St). Haven't explored this area too much but there are several holding ponds as well as the Preserve Park on the north side of 195th.
