Jirik Sod Farm directions: Take US 52 south from the Twin Cities (or North from Rochester). At Dakota county hwy 66 (200th st.) turn west. At Dakota county hwy 79 (Blaine Ave) turn south (there is a "Jirik Sod Farm" sign here), and the sod farms will be obvious on either side of the road. Wide shoulders, park anywhere not blocking a driveway. The sod farms also extend west along 200th, with some recently turned soil that was very popular with the Killdeer last night.
The Sibley County Moorhen (Sand Lake) was briefly seen last Saturday morning (July 24), from the gravel road along the north side of the lake.
