Few small warbler waves moving through Milaca Hiking Trails this morning (town of Milaca, just off 23 near Rum River, next to treatment plant). Nine species, including obvious migrants: Wilson's (4) & Magnolia. May have also been a "Baypoll" in the mix, but looks were fragmented and uncertain.

This Saturday Nate & I had a rather quiet morning in Aitkin County, although Boreal Chickadees & Gray Jays along the Highway 18 snowmobile trail are always a treat. Probable Great Gray also present, only tree-obscured/fly-away looks.

This Saturday was Nate's and my last trip together for a while - he heads to Trinity University in Deerfield, IL this week to study history (military emphasis) - losing my field trip co-leader, eyes and best birding buddy! He is reachable at [email protected]

Good birding to all!
