Doug Kieser Minneapolis To: [email protected] Subject: [mou-net] Jirik sod farm Baird's Sandpipers, Dakota Co. 8/17/10 Water levels are rapidly diminishing but we managed 8 species. Most impressive was a group of 21 Baird's in the tiny wet area on the east side right next to the Blaine Ave. We had an additional 6 Baird's nearby for a total of 27. All appeared to be juveniles in impeccable plumage. This is my personal high count of Baird's at a single location. Stilt Sp, were present yesterday, but not found today. Pray for more rain.
