Warblers (and vireos) were abundant along Minnehaha Creek east of Lake Hiawatha
this morning, for the second morning in a row.

It was like "warbler anime"--they were so many, moving so fast, it became hard
to follow all the frenzied movement.

Sixteen warbler species: Nashville (a), Tennessee (a), yellow (several),
Wilson's (several), chestnut-sided (several), bay-breasted (several, and
singing), northern parula (several), mourning (1, juvenile with broken
eye-ring), blackpoll (2), black-throated green (2), American redstart (1),
common yellowthroat (several), northern waterthrush (1), magnolia (3),
yellow-rumped (1), and Canada (1).

Also plenty of empids and vireos, including Philadelphia, blue-headed, and
yellow-throated.
