A group of ten SABINE'S GULLS was found on the 25th by Peder Svingen on the Minnesota side of the Superior Entry in Duluth. At least one WHITE-WINGED SCOTER was also reported from here on the same day and several PARASITIC JAEGERS have also been seen in the area. Also in Duluth, a SMITH'S LONGSPUR was found by Michael Furtman on the 25th on the south side of the 27th Avenue West exit of I-35. Other southbound migrants include GREATER WHITE-FRONTED GOOSE, CACKLING GOOSE, TUNDRA SWAN, BOHEMIAN WAXWING, RUSTY BLACKBIRD, and PURPLE FINCH.
