Hi All-- This morning I caught the first two juncos of the fall. One was unbanded. The other I had banded on 9 April 2009. Thus I have recaptured it two breeding seasons after banding. It is interesting that at least some juncos appear to winter (and perhaps migrate through) the exact same areas.
