This afternoon while returning from Kim Eckert's Polk County MBW, Ron Erpelding and I stopped in Hawley in Clay County. In the spruce trees near the entrance to the Hawley Golf Course (on the south side of Hwy 10), we were surprised to find 3 White-winged Crossbills - 1 juvenile male and 2 females.
