Judith Sparrow and I saw a Long Tailed Duck diving with a small flock of Common Goldeneyes on the east side of Sucker Lake this afternoon. I assume it is the same duck that has been seen for several days on Vadnais Lake immediately to the south. We watched the duck from 3:20 PM until we left at 3:50 PM. We parked in the Picnic Area parking lot at the north end of the lake and followed the trail down to the lake shore where we had great views of the duck.
