Good afternoon,
Yesterday at about 11:15 I first watched a lone eagle in combat with
another bird which I presume was a hawk. They were above the Van Paper Company
- Pearson Candy Company complex between West 7th Street and Shepard Road,
[Rankin is the cross street,] between 300 and 500 feet.
About 20 minutes later I again saw a sole eagle, in the same area but
closer to Shepard Road and at lower altitude.
Today another bird watcher said that yesterday he'd seen an eagle as well,
at about 9:15, near the intersection of Alton and Shepard Road.
