Does anyone have any experience with applications for birding on mobile
devices, particularly iPhone or iPad apps? I'm a new owner of an iPad and would
appreciate any information back channel. I would especially be interested in
information on how well they manage keeping track of birds seen; trip lists,
etc., as well as life lists. I already have the usual paper field guides for
IDing. It seems that Sibley, Peterson, Nat'l Geographic and Audubon all have a
product along with iBird. Any others?

Thanks again for any back channel info!

This is my answer to Pastor Al's recent question of what to do in the slow
season....
