The Townsend's Solitaire first reported by Gail Wieberdink was still present
today, Friday Nov 19, at about 3:00 PM.

Cheri Steinmueller found the bird today. It was feeding on junipers (on the
west side of the road that splits the two lakes) in the company of about a
dozen Cedar Waxwings. To find the spot, walk south from the parking lot on
County Road F until reaching the second trash can (perhaps a quarter of a mile).

The road is closed to vehicular traffic. Parking lot is covered with ice, but
the road is clear.
