Probably the most active place to bird in Duluth currently. I was down there
for about two hours and birded with Kim Eckert for a short while.

Highlights:
- Red-breasted Merganser ( good Christmas Bird Count bird )
- 8 Ring-billed Gulls ( another good Christmas Bird Count bird )
- 2 adult Thayer's Gulls
- 1 2nd cycle Thayer's Gull
- 1 3rd cycle Thayer's Gull
- Nelson Gull ( Glaucous Gull X Herring Gull )
- Thayer's X Iceland Gull
- Common Merganser X Hooded Merganser hybrid among the large raft of Common
Mergansers. Yesterday Lars Benson and I saw a new hybrid Common Goldeneye.. it
had white feathering in the back of the head.

* about 300 gulls were seen all together.
