Had another nice look at the BAGO at 4:10pm at Pt. Douglas Park today (Wed). A 
classic alternate male. I suggest looking for this bird at this location just 
after 4:00pm as most goldeneyes arrive at this time to roost. To me the feature 
that stands out is the very black back with several (6) neat white slashes 
imbedded in the scapular area. Over 1,000 ducks present but other than COGO and 
COME, I saw only one each of Hooded (female) and Red-breasted Merganser (male). 
Several TRSW also present.
