Hi, Conny Brunell just called and asked me to post that she and Susan Schumacher are currently observing this Snowy Owl from highway 19, west of Dakota County highway 59. It is south of 19 in an open field across from house number 1021.

I took some interesting photos and posted them on my bog http://dantallmansbirdblog.blogspot.com As a postscript on the gull photo I recently posted on the blog, at this time I think a good argument can be made that the bird is a Vega Gull, the Asian race of the Herring. There are photos on the web that are nearly identical.
