Deb and Steve Falkowski reported a Gyrfalcon near the town of
Virginia on the 17th on the open mine dump hills south of town, on
the east side of Manganika Lake. It was viewable by cross-country
skiing (or snowshoeing) only -- there are no roads into this area.

GPS coordinates:
Lat 47.49711115876799
Long -92.55912780761719

They also said they saw the bird on the 10th, and that it was sitting
on the same perch on the 17th.  It was apparently there for nearly an
hour and then flew north into town, so it may still be in the area.
