Would anyone who got the Star Tribune paper today happen to know what
kind of waterfowl is in the half page ad? I am not having any luck identifying
it. The photo is of an adult with about 12 babies. The adult has a white head,
black bill, rufous coloring on chin, neck, shoulders, and top of her back. The
large part of her wing is white but it looks like the tips are black. Her legs
and
tail are black. Her babies are light gray and black, the tops of their heads
are
black. It's hard to tell scale because the background is plain green. Thanks!
Rox
