John, Anthony, and other concerned Mou-net members, Your points are well taken. South Dakota has had similar problems with Gyrfalcon postings. Having never been to Sax-Zim or northern Minnesota to bird yet (hopefully Feb 16-21) I greatly enjoy hearing about and looking forward to seeing a Great Gray or Boreal someday. Would it be possible to acknowledge that you saw Great Gray's or NHOwl or NSawWhet, Boreal etc without disclosing location? The caveat would be that some of us non-Minnesota birders would at least be able to contact the sender off list for directions and the poster would have control over whom to pass the information on to. God Bless,
