Are there any falconers on this list who could speak to the ease/difficulty
of training a raptor to come to a human for food? I'd be very interested
in understanding if a wild bird can be trained to seek food from humans
without close, physical contact on a daily basis?

I may be entirely mis-informed, but I've been under the impression that the
'human = food' concept is one of the facets that makes falconry so
challenging.

I'd be perfectly happy (in fact, I'd prefer) to receive any comments off
list.

Thanks,
Julie O'Connor
