I flushed about 150 snow buntings from the edge of Sherburne Co. Rd. 9 today, just 1/2 mile west of Refuge HQ. And 2 miles east of HQ there were 6 horned larks along the road. Lots of crows in the area the last week or so and a lone male red-winged blackbird has been visiting my feeder at HQ for the last 7-10 days. Betsy Beneke Sherburne NWR
