Spring is slowly working it's way back in Cass County. Killdeer, Eastern Bluebird, Turkey Vulture, and Red-winged Blackbird have been around for a few days now. Of note yesterday evening (4/1) were 4 Ross' Geese in Walden Twp, south of Pine River. They were with other geese (including one blue phase Snow Goose) along the road that goes north from CR 1 near its intersection with CR 28. Good birding,
