This evening at sunset, heard some woodcock activity in the Rachel Lily field by the barn right off hwy 110; walked up the grass path that heads east behind the barn, and the birds were heard on the hill next to the vernal pond. It was an impromptu search, without a flashlight, and getting dark, so none were seen. Linda Whyte
