Hi All-- Yesterday evening I banded a Pine Siskin here in Northfield. The bird had a well-developed brood patch. (Siskins have been common this winter in Northfield.)
Also yesterday our neighbor raked her forest leaves and uncovered her patch of Siberian Squill, with many budding and some flowering.
