Orchard Lake, in Dakota County, had seven Horned Grebes, two Red Heads and a Common Loon.
Lake Byllesby, in Dakota County, had about thirty Bonaparte's Gulls at the west end. From the looks of it, there is hope that mud flats will appear in the next week or two. At Miesville Ravine Dakota County Park were heard Sandhill Crane and a Cooper’s Hawk. Otherwise pretty birdless.
