This morning at the 180th St. Marsh in Vermillion, Dakota Co., Susan Schumacher and I found an alternate plumaged Eared Grebe. The EAGR was in the most eastern section of the marsh on the north side of 180th St., out in the middle between the road and the far shore. It was preening the 20 minutes we enjoyed it in our scopes with excellent views.
