At 1500 hours on Sunday I saw an Ovenbird at Westwood Nature Center in St Louis Park. The bird was seen by the parking lot adjacent to the path leading up to the Center building- on the left side about 50' in from the parking lot. That area is proving to be a "hot spot" that seems to attractive to a variety of birds.
I also saw a Swainson's thrush at the same place and time. It landed about 5 feet from my motionless self, looked at me, saw what I was, kicked itself for carelessness and flew off.
