There was a single bedraggled-looking American Pipit bobbing along the gravel
point on the east side of Lake Como this evening. This was the first time I've
seen one within the metro area.

Continuing birds on the lake include Bufflehead, Ruddy Ducks, Lesser Scaup,
Pied-billed Grebes and 1 Common Loon, as well as several spotted sandpipers.
One spotted sandpiper spent some time a foot or two away from the pipit, making
for a pair of "bobbers". Not much for songbird action other than the
Yellow-rumps and kinglets; however, yesterday I found a Least Flycatcher, also
on the east side.
