I was up by Taylors Falls checking out the St Croix River for a future fishing
trip. I went to the Osceola landing and the thickets were full of Yellow-rumps.
Not unexpected, but low down and in the grass was a group of at least 10 Palm
warblers in beautiful fresh plumage. I had forgotten how pretty they are.
