While leading a walk for the refuge this morning, our group observed 23 species of Warblers along the upper and lower trails accessed from the Visitor Center Parking lot. The visitor center is located on American Blvd. E., about two blocks East of 34th Ave. S. Here are some of the species observed by the group. Common Nighthawk - observed roosting in a tree.
