Brewster's Warbler, Kunkel WMA, southern Mille Lacs County (just off 95,
west of Princeton).
Bird sang a ~7 note song, five fast notes, then a buzzy note (not as strong
as a Blue-winged), then a concluding note similar to the first five. Have
heard them sing this way in Sherburne Refuge before, Kunkel is just a few
miles north.
Occasionally see a Blue-winged here (less than once a year), Golden-winged
nest in this WMA, admittedly was surprised this morning to pick up a
Brewster's without stronger prior Blue-winged presence. Of course, he could
have just been wandering through.
