With the large amount of snow this winter the birds seem to return at a later
date and we found them in different location from former years. The
Yellopw-headed Blackbird we usually found at a marsh just west of Morristown,
and south of Hwy. 60. This year it was found on the island in Cody Lake, foy.

The Killdeer, foy, usually found about a month earlier, near Faribault, was
found in the housing development on the east side of Circle Lake.

Th Northern Rough-winged Swallow, foy, usually found on the west side of a
metal
business, Faribault, sitting on the barbed wire fencing. This year they were
seen flying under a cancvas over a truck entrance. We saw a total of 20 species
on our afternoon  bird search.
