(Please excuse late posting) Late yesterday afternoon, two Black Terns were battling the high winds over the 180th St. marsh. They were doing the occasional dive into the water, but it couldn't be seen what they were catching, if anything. I was surprised to see them there--don't recall anyone else mentioning them there, anyway. Have they been there before, or is it more likely they blew in on those winds? I've only gotten to see them in Carlos Avery and Sherburne NWAs and places further west. Linda Whyte
