The Peregrine Falcon Society will be banding the chicks that recently hatched in the nest. The proud parents of the three chicks are Speedy and MPR2. Speedy is the Mom and these are her 1st brood of chicks. Speedy was hatched in 2003 at the Xcel King Plant in Bayport, MN. Due to a fight this winter at the Colonnade building in Golden Valley she is missing a talon on her foot. MPR2 hatched in 2004 from the Multifoods Tower in Minneapolis. He has nested at Wells Fargo Plaza since 2007, before that he was nesting in Mankato. Enjoy the attached pictures of the happy family. The ballot box is at the security desk please be sure to submit names for the chicks by 12:00 pm on June 8th. The chick names will be selected prior to the banding and announced during the event, if your name is selected, you will be awarded a prize.
