I am leading a MRVAC bird hike on Sunday on a little known state forest trail near Red Wing. Target birds include Wood Thrush, Ovenbird, Acadian Flycatcher, and Cerulean Warbler, all of which were found last year. Bring water, snacks, hat and bug spray. All are invited.
We will meet at 7am on Sunday. Directions: Take Hwy 61 toward Red Wing. Turn left (after the casino turn) on CR46. Take the right fork along the river. When the road forks again, take the left fork into the parking area.
