The Iowa Ornithologist's Union (IOU) will be holding its Fall 2011 meeting in Decorah, IA August 26-28th (OK it won't be quite fall yet). Featured guest and speaker Ted Floyd (Editor "Birding" American Birding Association). Ted will present two times on Saturday and lead a "slackers" field trip on Sunday. Bare Naked Birding--Saturday afternoon Birding at Night - The Final Frontier--Banquet address Saturday evening. The IOU Fall meeting is open to anyone--no extra charge for non-members (of course we would welcome you warmly as a member as well). Those of you who have done some SE Minnesota birding know how good the birding should be as in that area.
