Don't let this event zip SWIFTLY by, without a lot of eyes on the
skies above our chimneys and smokestacks!

This weekend will bring 4 more opportunities to check and report on
the whereabouts and numbers of Chimney Swifts everywhere in our
state: Friday, July 29-Monday Aug.1. Anywhere you can find an uncapped
chimney, presents a possible site for breeding and/or roosting swifts,
so this needn't necessarily take you far from home. It doesn't take
very long to monitor a site, and you can make a fun time of it with a
friend, a camp chair, and a cooler if you like.
