Swift count, Hennepin county I counted again at the school at 12325 Hwy 55 in Golden Valley, sometimes called 'Tiny Acorns'. It was much cooler and breezy and the birds went in slower this time. On Friday I counted 310 birds; tonight's count was 435! Usually the birds flock CW or CCW. Not so tonight, they were circling in both directions at once, and entering the chimney in a straight line.
