[mou-net] What is "African-Eurasian Waterbird Agreement"?

I have received a request from the African-Eurasian Waterbird Agreement 
(AEWA) to use a photo of mine. Has anyone heard of this organization and 
what is their reputation? They allegedly are "dedicated to the conservation 
of migratory waterbirds in Africa and Eurasia". The photo is of a Trumpeter 
Swan.
