As I was retrieving my AM paper here in beautiful downtown Plymouth, I saw
something plump on the curb further down the street, maybe an injured baby owl.
Since it was too far away to get a good naked eye look, I ran back to the
house to get my binocs. When I got my glass on it, I discovered it was a
Chukar strolling across my yard. Before I could get my camera, it ran into the
tall grass and I have not seen it since. My neighbor, a hunter, is not aware
of any game farms around here. Perhaps one of the gun clubs in the area had a
shoot. Anyway, entertainment while fetching my paper.
