Hi All,

I amback in Minnesota for 2 weeks after working out on the farallon Islands. It was great birding out there, bu7t now I am in search of my favorite migrant birds: the Eastern Warblers!

Does anyone have any places near the Twin Cities where one could find some of these? I have been to bass Pond and enjoyed looks at Yellow, American Redstarts and Common Yellowthroats, but I am hoping to find my nemesis bird, the blackburnian Warbler among others.

Thanks for any tips.

Kind Regards,
Amy

Birded Kathio (Mille Lacs County) this morning - 10 warbler species (14-15 nest) - Golden-winged everywhere - surprised by Lawrence's backcross male in one group - also found a little north of normal Blue-gray Gnatcatcher.

Gorgeous day for birding, bugs insignificant.
