At 0845 this morning at my feeders I noted a different looking male hummingbird. It had what appeared to be a black head and throat with a very conspicuous white stripe below his throat.
I was but 5' from it as it sat on the feeder. I took a photo with my cell phone and will try to move it to my laptop in order to get a better view. I know what the field guides say but, really...
