Eric's post raises a question for the ignorant masses, like me: is there a good
shorebird spot in Hennepin County?

Thanks.

There is a large mudflat just west of Morton where Highway 19 meets Highway
71.  This morning there were 150+ shorebirds present, but I was not able to
find anything unusual.  There is a small gravel road at the intersection to use
for parking.
