While on a walk at the Minnesota Valley National Wildlife Refuges Bloomington
Ferry and Wilkie units this morning, between 7 and 10:30 am. We observed a
number of nice waves of Warblers and song birds. From the trailhead at the
Bloomington Ferry Unit, we hiked to the South along the paved trail to a few
about 100 yards North of the highway 169 bridge.

Here are a few of the species we observed:

Philadelphia Vireo
Blue-gray Gnatcatcher
Nashville Warbler
Yellow Warbler
Chestnut-sided Warbler
Magnolia Warbler
Black-throated Green Warbler
Black-and-white Warbler
American Redstart
Ovenbird - 20+
Common Yellowthroat
Wilson's Warbler
