Yesterday, 8/29, in SE Saint Louis Park I observed 4 - 6 common nighthawks foraging and kettling, possibly in migration, from my back deck. They finally disappeared into the cirrus clouds. Chimney swifts were also foraging at what appeared to be a fairly high altitude. I have also observe a olive-sided flycatcher foraging from atop a dying spruce tree.
