On the drive from home to Duluth this past Sunday and Monday, I kept a list of raptors observed as I made my way north. Instead of the straight drive from Waukesha (home) to Duluth, I spent a night in St. Germain, WI on Sunday night (NE Wisconsin); and made my way to Duluth on Monday. The list below includes birds observed within MN and WI.
Cooper's Hawk - 1 Turkey Vulture - 20 Broad-winged Hawk - 1 Red-tailed Hawk - 13 Bald Eagle - 4 I also tallied 49 Common Nighthawks. Hope to see you at Hawk Ridge this fall!
