Rich Peet, Tom Bell & I just closed up the MOU booth on the last evening of the state fair. On behalf of the whole MOU education committee I'd like to say thank you to everyone who helped make this year's booth a success! From those who created new educational materials, to those who helped set up and tear down the booth, to all the dedicated volunteers who interacted with curious visitors, to those who tried to volunteer but the only shift they could do was filled, and to those who are currently thinking of changes to make the booth even better next year...Thank you! We reach thousands of people at the fair each year and we could not do it without each and every one of you. The number of people who are engaged in birds and bird conservation through your efforts is astounding. Thank you for all you do for birds, birding and bird conservation- Jen, Kate, Rich, Tom & Bob with help from Sid and Joel. P.S.
