I forgot to add two highlights from yesterday's post from Wisconsin Point. While hanging out with the birding friends at Lot 1, I found an adult LESSER BLACK-BACKED GULL (likely the one which was seen earlier), and one adult THAYER'S GULL.
The first half of the day today at Hawk Ridge was rainy, but once the afternoon came around, strong winds out of the northwest cleared most of the skies, and Broad-winged Hawks & Sharp-shinned Hawks literally poured through. I think tomorrow is going to be another fun day at Hawk Ridge, particularly in the first half of the day!
